Second engine is a 5.7-liter V8 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque, which comes paired with same transmission and drivetrains as the 4.6-liter V8 unit.

Diesel engine and the newest addition to the Tundra’s line-up is 5.0-liter Cummins turbo diesel with output rates of more than 300 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.

Introduction of diesel unit will significantly affect the fuel consumption of the model, which will close the Tundra CAFÉ standards.
