2017 Kia Sedona price, specs
After its big redesign, back in 2014, Kia’s Sedona hasn’t received much updates, and 2017 model year will not bring much also. Minivan generations last for a long time, and it is usually 8-year cycle period for the Sedona. Therefore, facelift of the model can be expected in the mid time, which is for 2018 model year, while 2017 Kia Sedona is expected to slightly improved, with changes regarding features. Previous model brought rearview camera as standard feature on each trim, heated front seats for the middle trim and upper trims gained possibility to have 8 seats.
2017 Kia Sedona TRIMS AND FEATURES
One of the best things about the Sedona is that it looks modern and attractive, while at the same time it offers high level of functionality. This minivan can accommodate 7 or 8 passengers in three-row seats. It offers second-row sliding option, which moves the seats freeing a lot of storage space. Highest trims offer airline-style lounge second row chairs, while third row comes with 60-40 split/fold flat system.
2017 Kia Sedona comes available in five trims including L, LX, EX, SX and SX-Limited. Base equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, rearview camera, 7-seat arrangement, power windows, locks, and mirrors, cruise and climate control, tilt and telescoping steering wheel with mounted audio and phone controls, Bluetooth connection, AM/FM/CD player with USB port. This list will be slightly extended for the 2017 model, yet it is still not known which features exactly will be added. Stay tuned, when we come back with news and updates regarding the 2017 Kia Sedona.
2017 Kia Sedona ENGINE SPECS
Under the hood of the 2017 Kia Sedona will be placed the same engine as before. It is a 3.3-liter V6 capable to deliver up to 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The power is distributed to front wheels via 6-speed automatic transmission. As you had a chance to see, Kia didn’t enable the Sedona with all-wheel drive, but we will probably see this option soon, whether for a mid-cycle refreshment next year, or for a new generation.
Fuel economy is slightly different depending on trim. First three trim levels include 18/24 mpg city/hwy, while top trim SX-L delivers 17/22 mpg city/hwy due to its weight which is higher thanks to equipment it comes with.
