2016 Toyota Sienna Release date, review
Currently in its second generation, Toyota’s minivan Sienna will not go through substantial updates for this model year, and probably not for the next too. Recently Toyota had some delays in launch of their vehicles. This started the rumors that new generation of this MPV could start even later, most likely for 2018 model year. 2016 Toyota Sienna goes trough some minor changes and upgrades, considering that it went trough small refreshment for previous model year.
2016 Toyota Sienna DESIGN
Changes in exterior and inteiror design of 2016 Toyota Sienna are minimal, and mainly related to some features upgrades. Exteriro is slightly enhanced for previous model, while interior received more substantial changes for 2015 model year. This time around, eterior could get only paint additions, while interior could have some feature upgrades, or even only some shuffle of existing ones.
All five trims carry on for the 2016 Toyota Sienna, including base L, LE, SE, XLE and Limited. Depending on which trim you choose, minivan can accomodate either 7 or eight passengers. The thing that makes Toyota one of, if not the, most popular automakers in the world is the fact that it has good ear, carefully listens to its customer’s complains, and adresses the issues. Its engineeres quickly reacted to consumer’s remarks related to Sienna, and thanks to that, Sienna once again won the „best MPV“ awards.
Base trim L comes highly equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, auto headlights, cruise control, three-zone automatic A/C, driver seat adjustable in height, a tilt/-telescoping steering wheel, a backup camera, Bluetooth connection (phone and audio), and a 6.1-inch touchscreen with sound system including CD player, a USB/iPod interface and an auxiliary audio jack.

Although Sienna has numerous options when it comes to its equippment and features, Japanese automaker decided to empower it with only one engine. It is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 266 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque. The power is transmistted to either front or all wheels, depednign on trim, via 6-speed automatic transmission.
Fuel economy rates for 2016 Toyota Sienna are not released yet, but the model will most likely come out with the same numbers. Meaning that for FWD Siennas it will be 18/25/21 mpg and for AWD 16/23/19 mpg.
