2016 Isuzu D-Max Changes, Price
For those who don’t know, Isuzu is a Japanese commercial vehicles and diesel engine manufacturing company and D-Max is a pickup truck built by it. Isuzu was founded back 1916, and 2016 year will be 100th year of its existence. Having in mind that manufacturer anniversary is just around a corner, 2016 Isuzu D-Max will get some upgrades at least in form of some special edition. Other than that, we could also see minor facelift for the model, since current, second generation started back in 2012. If Isuzu decides to launch the model in form as we know it, its facelift will follow a year or two later.
2016 Isuzu D-Max CHANGES
When it comes to the exterior of the new 2016 Isuzu D-Max we don’t have much info. The model’s future is quite blurry, but some rumors emerged on surface. It will continue to be available in three body styles, like its predecessor, although not all of them will be available on every market. Crew Cab, Space Cab and Single Cab are three options we can choose from, when it comes to the model’s functionality.
Although the model still looks fresh and modern, Isuzu will probably make some minor upgrades in its styling. Nothing major is expected, but we could easily see the upcoming D-Max with new front end. This will include new headlight design, and new front grille. Taillights will follow the new look of the front end, as well as additionally enhance it with minor styling details.
On the inside, Isuzu will probably make some upgrades rather than redesigns. So, we will, most likely, see improvement in materials, as well as in features and technology.
2016 Isuzu D-Max ENIGNE SPECS
Since the Isuzu is specialized for diesel engine manufacturing, it is no surprise 2016 Isuzu D-Max will come packed with a diesel unit. There will not be changes under the hood of the model, at least according to news we have. Its engine will continue to be a 3.0-liter diesel, 4-cylinder with 175 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.
Both 4×2 and 4×4 drive configurations will be available. Transmission choices will include standard, 5-speed manual, and optional, 5-speed “Rev-Tronic” automatic transmission. Its towing capacity is rated at 3.5 tonne.
