Two engine options will be available for 2016 Ford F250. The first option will be a Petrol 6.2 liter engine. This engine will generate 385 hp of power given a torque of 401lb/ft. This petrol unit will be equipped with direct injection and with better fuel economy. The second power train option is a PowerStroke 6.7 liter diesel engine. The engine be able to deliver 440hp of power, with a torque of 860 lb/ft. The engines will be fitted with an 8 speed automatic transmission system, with the current 6 speed auto gearbox optional. A 10 speed automatic heavy duty gearbox is also being worked on and will be available. The towing capacity of this prestigious truck will remain the same, at 14,000 pounds for diesel power plant and conventional towing.

The release date is not yet known. It is however expected to be in the market in mid or fall of 2016. The price will range depending on the trim level and selected equipments. Lower trim levels will go for $35,000EST and the higher trims will go for $60,000EST.
