2016 Chevy El Camino Review

Chevrolet’s El Camino is a car-based pickup truck, which was discontinued back in late 80’s. Since then, there were not many rumors about the return of the model, until recently. General Motors has renewed El Camino’s registration, and that started the rumors about a big comeback of the model as 2016 Chevy El Camino. Similar model already exists in the Australian market, and seems like Chevy had big plans for the model for the US market. Recent news, on the other hand reveal that this release will be delayed, since Chevy has some other plans for the moment, but the Company has been quite about everything.

Like we mentioned, some version of the El Camino model are already available on the Australian market, but also in Middle East and South Africa. Design of the new 2016 Chevy El Camino will probably be similar to those models. This means the El Camino as we knew it is behind us. New generation will be much more modern, and go in line with latest automotive trends. The model will be bigger than before, with more aggressive style. Front end will be designed similarly to Chevy’s latest models, with big grille, narrow but not extremely slim headlights.

Interior will be made out of high-quality materials, designed as a “regular car”. Dashboard will host a touchscreen placed in the center of it. We can also expect numerous technology gadgets to be included into the offer.

Chevy may even decide to launch a Concept version of the 2016 Chevy El Camino, and to built production version later on.
