When it first appeared, back in 2014, Chevy Reaper won the hearts of many people. It came to the market just in the right moment, when Ford ceased the production of its Raptor truck for the time being. 2016 Chevy Reaper should come with mild improvements, compared to its predecessor, and re-establish its position as one of the best off-road oriented pickup trucks. Chevy started to work on this model back in 2012, and firstly they showcased their Concept version, so called T Rex which later developed into the Reaper.
Although GMC unveiled its fully redesigned Sierra before 2 years, new model year still has some changes expecting us. There is no much info regarding specific changes that will happen on the 2016 GMC Sierra, but it is known that the model will be facelifted. Recent news reveal that GMC didn’t make any major change, but rather improvements and upgrades classic for this type of mid-cycle refreshments.
Chevrolet’s El Camino is a car-based pickup truck, which was discontinued back in late 80’s. Since then, there were not many rumors about the return of the model, until recently. General Motors has renewed El Camino’s registration, and that started the rumors about a big comeback of the model as 2016 Chevy El Camino. Similar model already exists in the Australian market, and seems like Chevy had big plans for the model for the US market. Recent news, on the other hand reveal that this release will be delayed, since Chevy has some other plans for the moment, but the Company has been quite about everything.
Currently in its second generation, Toyota’s minivan Sienna will not go through substantial updates for this model year, and probably not for the next too. Recently Toyota had some delays in launch of their vehicles. This started the rumors that new generation of this MPV could start even later, most likely for 2018 model year. 2016 Toyota Sienna goes trough some minor changes and upgrades, considering that it went trough small refreshment for previous model year.
New model year brings exciting news related to Cadillac’s trucks. According to those, 2016 Cadillac Escalade EXT will be launched pretty soon, three years after it was discontinued, back in 2013. Great news, in fact, didn’t came from the Cadillac itself, but they were launched by reliable sources. The Escalade SUV is one of the most popular vehicles on the road today, and is one of the primary choices for both celebs and politicians. The reason of its great popularity lies in its perfect combo of luxury and functionality. The EXT version of the model is the one with the open-bed, while the model also comes in extended version named ESV and hybrid version.
